Place the mince in a bowl and add all the ingredients except for the crushed tomatoes. Mix the ingredients thoroughly, then refrigerate the mixture for at least half an hour or overnight if possible.
Shape the mixture into oblong meatballs (soutzoukakia) and fry them in plenty of Pomace oil until they are browned. Place the fried meatballs on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
In a pot, add the crushed tomatoes, a pinch of cumin powder, salt, pepper, a touch of sugar, and a glass of water. Bring the mixture to a boil.
Add the fried meatballs to the pot with the tomato sauce and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes or until the meatballs are fully cooked.
Serve your soutzoukakia with pilaf rice, french fries, or mashed potatoes for a delicious Greek meal!
