The Koroneiki olive, picked while still green, is highly prized for its aromatic, fruity and well-balanced oil, perfect for enjoying in its natural raw state or added at the end of cooking. A superb choice for everyday usage. This extra virgin olive oil is made from olives grown in the Peloponnese region of Greece, but not necessarily directly from Kalamata. This is the only difference from our PDO version of this EVOO, it does not have the Protected Designation of Origin stamp, but it is still a great-tasting, premium quality EVOO! A superior category olive oil obtained directly from olives and solely by mechanical means.
