"Eklekto" White Cheese
Kalogeraki White Cheese “Eklekto” is a brine cheese made with the same traditional technique as our Traditionally Cretan Cheese (Feta). The only difference is at the milk used which is purely cow milk instead of a mixture of sheep & goat milk. It matures and it is preserved in brine.
"Eklekto" White Cheese can be the perfect cheese for delicious pies and be added in small pieces in the traditional Greek salad (choriatiki) or in a mixed grill.
Texture and color: It is characterized as a soft, white cheese with a few or no cuts.
Taste: It has a characteristic, brackish taste.
